Republicans who hate w's war discovering they are NOT really republicans.
I know, because I listen to cspan every day, and whenever a republican calls in and bashes bush or his war he or she is immediately, and roundly accused of NOT being a republican at all, but some sort of liar with nothing better to do than call cspan and pretend to be a republican.

I bet that get's a little insulting after a while, sort of like being told you're not really a patriot or an American.

Some of them are becoming Democrats, others are claiming libertarian leanings, but every time one goes against bush or his war they get called a NON REPUBLICAN.

What does this all portend?

1. It's the Bushbots that are not true Republicans.
They should call themselves "Chimpians" or something to indicate that their loyalty is not to their party, much less to their country, but to one man. And what a man he is!

19. I know that he has since gone on "The Big Vacation" mentally, but
John McCain did HONESTLY help my father with his small business after we wrote a thoughtful letter to his office.

No joke, I'm an unabashed Liberal, but will always be IMPRESSED by McCain's quick response. Staff members immediately contacted us and told the government (who favored corporate ownership over individual/family owned) to BACK OFF!

Way back in the 70s and early 80s, *some republican legislators* truly cared about the small business owner. In fact, that's what the old time republicans were most proud of - encouraging entrepreneurship.

No more. But I do remember a time when ONE republican helped a small business owner against over-legislation by The Federal Government.

IMO, to once again be viable to the masses, the Republican Party needs to return to truly standing up for individual freedoms (libertarian) and those who are struggling in the middle classes.

3. True Believers Trying To Enforce the Mind Lock
What will they do when they realize that being a True Republican gets them involved in war crimes and serious jail times? I see heads exploding all over the place.

The sheeple look up!

we were just following orders" ... which means, he threw our soldiers under the bus because they had to follow orders ...

11. It means the repuke party is getting smaller and smaller
until no one is left in the party but bush lovers. If it weren't for the corporate media, no one would be claiming allegiance to this party. The media keeps bush alive in the hearts and minds of racists, scoundrels and ignorant fools.

You know frogs lying down with spiders, that sort of thing.

Look for Bush to be talking in tongues any day now.

On the bright side, when all them Rapturists are whisked away they'll be plenty of parking spaces available.

say that bush is good for the country and that he got awards for the things you'd done in VIET NAM. That dumb ass didn't know that bush was awol from the NG and never went to Nam. This confirms it these people are "INSANE".

15. I can see "the hurt" that must be written all over their faces.
Many old time, hard corps republicans were more of the libertarian variety.

That is,

"you're welcome to do drugs as long as it doesn't harm society. Also, fine with us if you get family planning or choose to have an abortion ... BUT you have to pay for it, not the government."

My right wing extended family are seriously taken aback by the Religious Nuts slowly hijacking the party since the mid-eighties.

The republican party has disowned their libertarians (see Ron Paul) and social moderates (see Arlen Specter).

What these arrogant rulers forget is that religious fervor and ideological wedge issues only seem to work when the Middle Class is doing well. When both the working poor and the middle class are struggling just to "survive" they understandably don't give a damn about social issues in favor of ECONOMIC ASSISTANCE.

I can hear the political elites now, "What's the matter with these dumb-asses in the chattering peasant classes. The stock market is UP so WHAT ELSE can they possibly want?!?"

The true dumb-asses in this country are mostly wealthy republican representatives and Democratic DLCers (and M$M top tier Wall Street Whore Journalists) who can NOT fathom what it is like NOT to have hundreds of thousands invested in The Stock Market. THEY DON'T GET IT.

22. I just listened to the callers.
They really hate it when one of their own bad mouth * or if they don't support the war, they accuse them of being a sneaky Democrat. That one repuke caller that complained about all the bashing of Bush and how it's not right. I wonder if she watched cspan when Clinton was in office.
