1. What will his campaign slogan be?
"Elect me, or I'll make my daughter cry"?

3. I see Santorum as an outlier
way too crazy for many folks who would look to an R who's more center than he is. Or Santorum's ego is just getting the better of him and he REALLY misses the spotlight.

5. Attention patriots!! No "man on dog sex" in this campaign!!
Rick Santorum, the man who only has sex with his legally married wife once a year in the missionary position for all of 30 seconds, fully dressed and with all the lights off. Vote early and often for Santorum!

(btw, you've now given me the terrifying image of Santorum getting confused and having sex once a year with an inflatable Kate Smith doll. Can you tell me where I can get a cheap lobotomy, since that's the ONLY possible way to get that picture out of my mind?)

11. You need to correct your title.
That's Rick "Man on Dog" Santorum.

I got so used to hearing KO call him that that when I'd watch CSPAN and they had a Senate vote, every time I'd hear them call his name, I actually expected to hear Rick "Man on Dog" Santorum.

12. All indicators suggest Santorum sees himself as the next Republican
nominee for president.

He's here and there already in the early primary states.

He's energized, evidently relatively well funded, and just as abominable as he was when he was in the Senate.

are bug fuck crazy enough to nominate some crazy to teaparty idjit for the top spot.

And this is the right time to go balls to the walls to get positioned for a run. Old W did it in Texas, buying his ranch in 1998 so he could play cowboy for the camera. This is the time when we will see the next nominee for the dark side make an appearance.

24. and there could even be more to come crawling out of the woodwork
pretty soon.

One look at the current crop of Puke nom candidates, or potential candidates, and it's just astonishing how wretched they are.

I can't confirm but have heard it referenced that George W. Bush loved playing the cowboy thing but was deathly afraid of horses. Odd thing for a cowboy.

This has got to be the scariest family picture in history.

I hope to god he does run. This country could sure use the laughs. Would it be too much to ask to have him and Palin on the same ticket?

18. In 1998 we thought Bush was a Charlatan...
His home was a hotel in Texas. But, he brought his ranch, pretended to be a cowboy, and we had 8 years of hell.

Don't underestimate what can be done to polish a lump of shit until it looks like gold. It happened.

25. Can you imagine the GOP debate stage in the weeks before the Iowa
caucus?

Good god. Rick Santorum, snorting his way through all the push-button social issues. And potentially two Hoosiers -- the weasel warrior himself, Mitch Daniels, and the Himmleresque Mike Pence.

Not to mention the rest of the pack -- Palin, Pawlenty, Pataki, and nutty Newt.

A macabre line-up of two-bit thugs, egomaniacs, and n'er-do-wells.

27. Did he ever decide which state he lives in?
He claimed his permanent residence was a 2-bedroom house in PA, without even curtains on the windows when he actually lived in a huge home in VA with his 6 kids. He got in trouble when it was found that the PA school district was paying for the senator's children to be enrolled in a cyber charter school."

http://www.pjvoice.com/v12/12003home.html

What's strange is that when he lost his election in PA he never went "home," but continued to reside in the VA house.
