Unemployed? See If You Have What It Takes to Work for BP!
How BP Are You? Take their self-assessment questionnaire and find out! I did! Of course, they're only looking for freshly minted college graduates, but what the hell!

BP says their self-assessment "will help you to judge whether there is a good fit between your strengths and preferences, and what BP is looking for."

Here are the kind of questions they asked me to answer with either Strongly Agree, Agree, Unsure, Disagree or Strongly Disagree:

"I want to work for an organization which offers a similar lifestyle to the one I have now"

"I find it easy to explain technical subjects to non-experts"

"I have a good idea of what I need to do to improve myself"

"I rarely give up on something"

"Even my critics would have to acknowledge that I really know my subject"

"I have been told I am a good listener"

"When I see a problem, I feel compelled to try and sort it out"

"I often see solutions that are not apparent to others"

"I have more interest than my peers in the commercial aspects of organizations"

"It would be disappointing to work for an organization that was not 'leading the way'"

"I enjoy working under pressure from time to time"

"If people critcise me, I tend not to let it bother me"

"The more complex or difficult the problem, the more I will try to solve it"

"I find it easy to build relationships with people"

"My track record should be enough to build my credibility with people"

"Responsibility excites me"

Be sure to calculate your own results--and look for the typo in the text you get back!

1. "responsibility excites me" . . . wonder how Tony responded to that one
I guess he may get excited by seeing it in others . . . . so could respond positively.
