FAIRFIELD TWP. — Police said they arrested former GOP Butler County commission candidate Rawnica Dillingham Tuesday evening, June 15, after she allegedly attempted to shoplift.

Dillingham was arrested at 7:44 p.m. at Walmart, 3201 Princeton Road, for allegedly attempting to steal $259 worth of miscellaneous food items and clothing. snip

The report states Dillingham’s driver’s license is under suspension, so the responding officer transported her to Game Stop at the Bridgewater Falls shopping center to pick up her two teenage sons. All three were then transported to their Liberty Twp. home.

This arrest is the latest in a long line of legal issues for Dillingham, who had a failed county commission run against Commissioner Charles Furmon in 2008.

In September 2009, Dillingham pleaded guilty to violating Hamilton’s adult-entertainment law. The former co-owner of V’s Night Club pleaded guilty to violating live dancing regulations and an underage alcohol offense.
