I wonder if we could, through mechanisms of trolling and the informal right-wing email distribution network, get the tea-partiers and other conservatives to start asserting something that's pretty well established as false, and that would even be contested by the subject (BP wouldn't deny a leakat this point). It would be an epic demonstration of the gullibility of this movement, which you could hammer them with when they are falling for the same tactic in the future.
