A 'Frustrated' Joe The Plumber Gets Behind Microman
Henderson resident and Robert Stern has a new, special friend to help him present his life's work to the world: Joe "The Plumber" Wurzelbacher. Stern's special project is known as Microman, and he and Joe plan to introduce Stern's Microman to the world of the tea parties starting this summer in Vegas.

Microman is not the copyrighted action figure you might remember from your misspent youth: he is, instead, a poorly-drawn, Obama-teabagging conservative Everyman with a penchant for really terrible jokes with which your older, conservative relatives will eventually clog your Inbox.

In a sample joke from the cover, a waitress invites Microman to order "Cream of Bailout Broccoli Soup," because "anytime you see 'bailout' it means you should expect to get creamed." Despite that level of "humor," Stern, the Tea Party Movement and Joe "The Plumber" Wurzelbacher invite you to enjoy the book for the low price of $9.95. From the press release:

This toast to the Tea Party movement and American freedom stars Microman, the new hero of the conservative right. Microman loves liberty and loves his life. He just doesn't like the notion of paying taxes on his hard-earned money and watching his country turn socialist.

Presented in a series of original comic strips, Microman's humorous musings on education, fiscal policy, foreign affairs, healthcare, and more will make readers laugh and feel good about fighting for the principles our Founding Fathers set forth.

Wurzelbacher describes Microman as "frustrated" and "one of us" in the same press release. One wonders how many other Tea Party members, already frustrated with being called teabaggers, would get behind a movement to rebrand them as "Micromen" with as much enthusiasm as Wurzelbacher.

4. Hey Microman, love it or leave it!
Don't like paying taxes? Seems rather un-American if you ask me. Somalia is lovely this time of year.
