I give up.
Edited on Thu Jun-17-10 10:57 AM by Stinky The Clown
I give up. I am amazed at how inarticulate I am. I made a post about the morons who vote for loons. I cited one loon as AN EXAMPLE of what the OP was about. I failed miserably in making my point, at least judging by the replies.

THE ORIGINAL THREAD TITLE:

As you listen to these (or any other) hearings, keep in mind that the crazy shit the pols say .....

THE ORIGINAL THREAD TEXT:

.... is a reflection of the morons who voted them into office.

By way of example, Michelle Bachmann is a loon. What does that say about the person who votes for her?

2. Reading comprhension would have noted I confined my remarks to those *who voted for* them . . .
. . . . not those who live in their districts.

But you go ahead and howl at me if that makes you feel better.

7. I did not take your post as an attack

I was trying to be gentle and just mention that for the most part Minnesotans vote for democrats.
I also failed in my intent. sorry

You should, if interested, look at the district boundary lines.
For the most part I think we are ashamed of her.

and I also wonder how people can vote for people like her.

8. My sincere apology
I took it as such. If you say it wasn't, it wasn't. I am guilty of that which I accused you of being.

I'm sorry.

3. If I am not mistaken there are 8 districts in MN. She only represents one.
The rest of us are wondering what kind of people would elect her and then elect her again.

4. Michele Bachmann did not hold her office in 2008 in any sort
of landslide. This year, she faces a powerful, popular opponent in Tarryl Clark. I would encourage Michele to just keep right on talking as though she were running unopposed. Every stupid-assed thing she says is fodder for the campaign.

I'm almost sure that Tarryl Clark is going to pull this election off and replace this misbegotten woman. There are lots and lots of us working toward that end.

So, just keep talking, Michele. We love what you're saying so much that we're going to help you get lots and lots of publicity for your wacko stupidity.

5. You're the third one. This thread is NOT about her.
Her mention, as a way to clarify the meaning of the thread was prefaced with "by way of example", yet she is the sole topic of the replies.

Whatever .....

6. You can't get it thru people's heads
that this particular district was drawn up especially to be forever republican. If You go to the district and look at the outlines you can see that. But thank the good Lord the republicans are going to loose in November here as governor and we will get a chance to re-arrange her district and make it more legal. That way she will be history and never heard from again.

I think that is what she is afraid of. That's why she is pushing the national scene. She is just damn dumb enough to think Palin would pick her as a running mate. If I were a republican (thank God I am not) I would be distancing myself from her as far as I could get. She is without a doubt the most batshit crazy women in politics.

9. Live and learn.
I suppose next time, you won't give examples. Or at least will be more generic. I see your point, but see that others are still missing it. Oh well. And for my opinion, you are right---who are these people who vote for "loons".
