Si, se puede

Campaign slogan from different times.
Use it again in a campaign to clean up this mess.
This isn’t a frickin’ war. It’s a campaign for our future.

Open the beaches etc. to the press. Transparency is key

Gov: Shut down the most dangerous offshore oil wells
until they prove they have a way to shut off any spills.
Stop giving out offshore oil drilling permits.
Fire the whole MMS. Organize the process and work
with BP et al, not let them control the process of cleaning up etc.

Congress: Re-regulate, oversee responsibly.
Let’s get some new environmental laws on the books. Enforce the laws we have now.

Justice Dept: Find the lawbreakers, make the cases, prosecute.

Clean up: House Americorp volunteers in any old Katrina trailers.
Hire the unemployed to help clean up the mess.

Oil companies: This is your opportunity to do
more than make money. Send in the ships, shut this site down safely.

Coast Guard: You must have some bright ideas.

Obama: This isn’t a political moment.
No one expects you to shut down that well.
We do expect the lawbreakers to be taken to court,
corporations to be re-regulated since they clearly aren’t now,
damages paid for by the lawbreakers, and government employees
doing their jobs, and if not, being fired,
without compensation/pensions.

You seemed to have more energy campaigning.
Pretend this is your most dire campaign.
