They may look like a cross between ET and a Gremlin, but these bald Sphynx cats are fetching up to £3,000 a time as the latest must-have pet.

The odd-looking wrinkly felines are a rare breed which have only recently found their way to England in the last few years.
They are perfect for asthma sufferers or those who are sick of cleaning fur from their furniture.

6. And I think they are lovely. But I don't want one.
I like my kitties to have lots of fur and plus these guys require regular bathing. Most are pretty good about it from what I hear, but the notion of bathing a cat frightens me to no end.
