Did anyone catch Doctor Who episode last weekend? ... about oil drilling!?...

First of a two parter which finishes up this Saturday. I think they repeat last week's episode as well then for those that missed it.

We talk about art reflecting reality, and reality reflecting art (especially when people are involved that help make it that way)...

Basic plot line. Some oil drillers try to drill too deep and the consequences of their doing so threatens the planet! Hmm...

Now this seems downright spooky! I believe these episodes were made way before the BP oil spill! And they were on British television no less!

Talk about reality (in this case *nature*) mirroring reality, unless you have some real insane bozo of BP's that had earlier seen these Doctor Who episodes working on the rig then (or deciding to cut corners, etc.) to intentionally replicate this plot, though that seems hardly likely.
