Gen Petraeus becomes ill at Senate hearing - c-span1

reports that he fainted in his chair. he did get up and walk out. the hearing is in recess now waiting to see if he will return. edit: he has returned now to a round of applause. edit 2: The hearing has been cancelled until tomorrow.

He doesn't appear to have fainted but he put his head down on the table and groaned a little. the start of the hearing is being replayed now.

3. Petraus probably did it to keep from being bored to death!
CNN is reporting that Petraus said he was dehydrated, felt better after eating some bananas, drinking water.
