That we can all buy shares in so that we too can provide unlimited corporate dollars to the candidates that stand up for the rights of individuals over corporations. (I'm speaking in the liberal sense, not the Tea Bagger sense. As in, more regulation/oversight to protect individuals while Tea Baggers/Libertarians like less regulation in order to facilitate corporate cannibalism of the individual.)
I think this is the only way around the limitation of private contributions. I don't think you can be limited in how many shares of a corporation you can buy. Is the united pocketbook of millions of citizens stronger than the coffers of the corporate influence peddlers? They still have to make profit and pay dividends - our profits and dividends would be in better officials and legislation.
If you can't beat them, join them and beat them at their own game.
