This is how I see the 2010 Senate elections as of today
Edited on Thu Jun-10-10 01:27 PM by Tony_FLADEM
Democrats have 9 Senate seats to worry about.

The seats in Arkansas, Delaware and North Dakota are gone. Of these 3 the Democrats have the best chance of winning the Delaware seat.

I'm pretty sure the Democrats are safe in Pennsylvania, Illinois and Nevada. Illinois is a Democratic State and I don't see Mark Kirk coming back from his multiple fabrications.

The states that are toss ups are Washington State, Colorado and Indiana. In Indiana, Dan Coats is 67 years old and Brad Ellsworth is a much better candidate. In Colorado, the Republican candidates are not that impressive.

In Ohio, Florida (Crist), Missouri, New Hampshire and Kentucky the Democrats have a shot. Of these 5, they are most likely to win in Ohio and Florida.

In California, I think Barbara Boxer is safe. If Diane Feinstein can beat Michael Huffington in 1994, Barbara Boxer can beat Carly Fiorina in 2010.

3. I am going to be pushing people here in PA to vote for Sestak...Toomey is an idiot, but

he is a real nightmare politically.
I think Sestak is has a veru good chance-fingers crossed.
Sadly, I think we may be in for a GOP governor in PA...The Democratic Party's Choice won the primary and he is not too popular nor is he a very good candidate-the hand picked successor to Ed "Fast Eddie" Rendell.

The republican is prone to very stupid actions in public, though, so we shall see...

5. I don't see Dino the Dumbass winning in Washington
As horrible as Patty Murray's voting record has been in recent years, she's still somewhat more tolerable than that two time loser corrupt neocon asshole. Even Boeing thinks so, and Dino the Dumbass can't exactly project himself successfully as the "pro-business" candidate without their endorsement.

7. It's looking good right now
Seems like the party is united around him. Polls, if you believe them, have Blumenthal up by as many as 20 points.

9. Robin will win in MO
unless she is dumb enough to dredge up public option, single payer or other HCR ideas like them. 2nd Amendment also.
Keep quiet on those two things and she should be good.
