a part of the audience must've been Republicans because they cheered. Then he told them to hold on. He would want Obama in charge of Katrina and Bush in charge of the oil because Bush would make sure he got every drip of that oil picked up. Like Jenna Jameson.

LOL

1. As usual, a bunch of groupies rec'd this based on the title and never bothered to read the post.

2. I think it's a false analogy anyway
Hurricane Katrina was a natural disaster, the occurrence of which cannot be blamed on the actions of humans. In that case, the federal, state, and local governments are supposed to provide clean up assistance and aid those affected by the natural disaster. This oil volcano is a man-made disaster, the occurrence of which can be directly attributed to a number of humans. In this case, those humans are responsible for cleaning up and aiding those affected by the disaster they caused, not the government. It is the government's responsibility to see that the responsible parties provide that clean up and aid, and to punish the responsible parties if investigations reveal this was caused by negligence (which we have seen that it was).

4. Though there is an argument that, if a Republican were president,
things would become so intolerable that, in 2012, "our" agenda would be passed intact sans significant opposition.
