3. Applaud the sentiment, but no storks here

The birds getting oiled are pelicans (and many other kinds of seabirds). Storks aren't seabirds though; wet get them occasionally as flyovers but they aren't here now and aren't getting oiled. Yeah, you could always say it's an oiled stork delivering the death of so much, but the cartoon just really loses its sense if you know anything about birds.
