I have listened to this son of a bitch while he "serviced" the rabid impeachment wingnuts and I have invented new variations of profanity in response to his insistence on giving right wing extremists---birthers, deathers, militiamen---a national microphone to spew their sewage into, BUT---his praise of BLANCHE LINCOLN tonight (he compared her to "Norma Rae" and called her a heroine) was the most nauseating, embarrassing and mendacious gob of bullshit I have ever endured from him.

He essentially said that the attempt of labor and progressives to influence the vote was an attempt to simply "buy" the outcome they wanted. Where the hell is this smarmy sanctimonious SOB when the Chamber of Commerce or twisted little mutants like Richard Mellon-Scaife are writing out checks to anyone who looks presentable in a hood or can "speak in tongues"?

Halter's loss was attibuted to Bill Clinton's star power and a "very impressive" final two weeks by Lincoln. No mention at all of Garland County where one of Blanche's boys closed 40 of 42 polling places. That county gave him his biggest winning margin in the pre-runoff primary, nearly 3% of his total vote.

Blanche Lincoln joins Joe Lieberman as a "Democrat" whose primary distinction is her opposition to the Democratic Party. The DNC and the DSCC should be ready for a real juicy response if they contact me for a contribution.
