With the WHCA you never know: They're so un-hip they TRY to be hip and at OUR peril: e.g., their choices of comics at the annual dinner.

Fox News looks at White House front row

Fox News Channel could inherit the front-row White House seat vacated by Helen Thomas.

Fox News Channel and Bloomberg News are the two news organizations in the running for the coveted seat in the White House briefing room -- used for presidential press conferences and other official White House press functions.

Fox News Channel is the only TV network without a front-row seat, while Bloomberg is the only wire service not in the front row, according to reports.

The White House Correspondents Association is expected to meet tomorrow to discuss who will get the seat, according to incoming WHCA president David Jackson.

Thomas, 89, retired Monday after her controversial remarks about Israel.

4. Bloomberg for sure
Fox News isn't even a news organization, is it? Isn't it rather some sort of disease?

10. So Helen Thomas will either be replaced by the Drum Major of Imperialist Capitalism or
by the Head Cheerleader of Capitalist Imperialism.

9. Helen Thomas has not accounted for all her weapons of mass destruction, she has not complied
with all the relevant UN Security Council resolutions, she has reconstituted her nuclear program, she could strike anywhere in less than 45 minutes, and we will not wait for our worst fears to be realized in the form of a mushroom cloud!

8. Fox admitted they did not have to report the news accurately. Isn't
