Seriously you couldn't see through the ads and the spending spree? And after Ahnuld you didn't learn that money doesn't buy everything? We don't deserve real leadership. Fuck you California GOP.

1. As long as the whole state doesn't fuck up in November
Republicans can do what they want.

3. Not a Californian, but I'm not worried about Jerry
I think he'll win. He seems to be a liked guy out there.

It's the Boxer thing that has me worried, and there's no reason why that race should even be close.

6. Why worry about Boxer?
Polls always show a close race but she'll win double digits.

24. I'm not worried about Boxer.
I can see the ads now, about all the HP lay-offs and offshoring of jobs on Carly's watch. Her record speaks for itself.

8. Good to know.
But it's sad that our voting populace doesnt. After the idiocy displayed by that Hacienda Heights (my neck of the woods) woman who compared students learning Chinese to communism on the Daily Show last night, it's pretty evident that we have a lot of idiots in this state. And they all vote.

19. She'll have a much harder time of it in the general election
so far she has avoided any public debate or radio appearances in which she could be forced to defend her ideas on serious policy issues.

Jerry Brown is a seasoned politician, with a substantial base here, He won't ley her get away with the spend massive money/present no policies strategy.

In fact, I expect he'll use her purchase of her candidacy quite effectually against her in the coming election battle.

20. ??- Are you suggesting the CA GOP should'e fielded a more reasonable candidate?
You just made me literally scratch my head...

They're the GOP for a reason... I haven't got any idea what that reason might be... but there is one... and the result of the reason, whatever it is, is that they vote for asshats like Meg Whitman.

I mean, next thing you'll be expecting penguins to fly while performing "Putting On The Ritz"... they're just the GOP, there's only so much that can be reasonably expected of them... as human beings.
