Am I the only one who's sick of the "Rise of the New Right" promotion on MSNBC?
How many times have I heard that moran Rand Paul say "we've come to take our government back" before I can hit the mute button? Too many!

MSNBC - you're pissing me off.

1. To take your government back from what,
Mr. Paul?
From what?
I'm sure you mean the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Because we never saw hide nor hair of you at the demonstration at Bush's inaugural in 2001.
The executive is taken by a usurper and you do nothing.
Another executive is lawfully elected and you scream.

Minorities: Religious and Ethnic
The Poor: Like the poor have any real power, but you'd never know it listening to those dimwits
on edit -- Liberals and Progressives: Because there are like maybe 50 real liberals in Congress now

I've already read and heard many lament that if Kagan gets on the Court there will be no more Protestants on the Court, so how can it be representative of the country

My response is... There are no Asians, one black and she'd be the third woman. How is that representative of the country
Until Taney was elevated to the Court and for many years after him, there were no Catholics on the Court.
For over 150 years there were no Jews on the Court, nor were there any ethnic minorities until Marshall -- how is that representative

Live with it people

2. I hoping the special
basically points out these are the same conservative ideas as the last 30 years. The new right is the same as the old right. There's nothing new about them.

4. I want the public to see Rand Paul
I want him to be the face of the Republican Party.

He's a buffoon like his Father. The more the public sees of Rand Paul, the more likely they are to stick with the Democratic Party.

10. No... we took it back from YOU!
Remember that election? That's how you take things back... you vote them back.

Idiots... they even stole the catch phrase from us... not an original thought between them... they must honestly think that doing the same thing that got us into this mess is going to get us out!

Idiots.

11. WHY is Tweety dedicating a whole show to them? He does this all the time.
I swear it was him that gave credibility to the swiftboat liars. He wouldn't shut up about them. And Palin - for months he was non-stop talking about her.

Rather than report the news he spends too much time making all these psychos relevant.

You have come to take America's government away from America. Tell the truth.

Oh, sorry. Telling America's radical right not to lie is like telling a baby not to cry.

19. New right same as the old right.
One word description of Tea Partiers- Republicans. That's all they are.

The non-stop media coverage is unpaid political advertising.

The owners of the Republican Party are pushing the "Tea Party" in an attempt to channel the populist anger resulting from economic decline away from corporations, tax cuts for the wealthy, and the twin bloated parasites of the health care and defense establishments and toward government, Democrats, and Obama.

21. I guess it's their attempt at "balance".
They have a few shows where people have well researched and thoughtful opinions, so they have to balance it out with openly biased stupidity.

28. If you watch MSNBC on the internet stream, you're reminded of how unbalanced even this channel is.
Whoever is streaming the channel cuts out the commercials and replaces them with an endless loop of MSNBC's own promos (usually at 10 times the volume level of the actual program)

When you see promos from an ex Repuke congressman who may or may not have killed his intern, Alan Greenspan's wife, and the daughter of an old Cold War era warmonger all back to back, it might as well be FAUX.

Aside from Keith, Rachel, Ed Schultz, and one of Tweety's personalities who maybe shows up twice a week, MSNBC is just as right wing as CNN, FAUX or ABC.

are here's a special about them.

Oh and the left, they don't matter, knowing what is going on and not being hateful isn't interesting to watch.

It's once again driving me batshit crazy - I switched the channel (granted I rarely watch Tweety anyway)

I wonder if MSNBC cares that they are driving their viewers to drink?

have real meaning, and stalling and obstructing.

But hey, that's just me.
