up from 39% in March. 'Small government bullshit' is not popular when people are facing the consequences of 'drill baby drill' or 'steal Wall Street steal'.
1. The kooks stole the Teabagger party from the teabaggers
who seemed to be Libertarians, imo. Their party (Teabaggers) was a refuge for all the racists and bigots who thought this was a good way to vent their frustration with having Pres. Obama in the White House. Now, the Teabag party is fractured and eventually will disappear.
5. It will be interesting to see how today's primary elections end
up. Palin doesn't have a very good success rate with her idiotic endorsements and the wedge those teabaggers are making within the GOP should help the Dems in November (I hope).
8. The GOP's attempt at rebranding itself fails miserably.
In essence, that's all the Tea Party is: GOP strategists leading around the astroturf grassroots like the sheep that they are in order to build a political "movement" to vote for the same old GOP candidates as ever, after the 2008 elections left the GOP brand name in worse shape than the Edsel.
