At what point will it become civil disobedience?
Oh man, the irony. At what point will various peaceful, allied countries start sending supplies ships to Palestine only to have Israel turn them away or abuse them? Classic Gandhi, MLK. Ireland, o.k., fine, good job. But when will the "oh wow," non-bellicose (provide your list here) countries step up? Britain is the first thought that comes to mind. Americans are too stupid to respect any of these sorts of gestures from France. Germany? They're probably the last ones who wish to oppose Israel. I wish our allies would keep sending the supplies ships, refuse to stop, get boarded, and do not respond when you get beaten. I'd love to see a humanitarian non-state American ship try it. I suppose that would force our hand (and, yes, I realize that a US citizen has already been killed). Do you think it would happen if Chimpy were still pResident?

What's really sad about this post--I couldn't think of a whole lot of allies tha would actually put us in a tough spot. All of our allies happen to be global competitors (Russia, China). Sad, really. No one to challenge us morally so that it's not seen as a military challenge. It seems Britain is the only one. God help us all.

I hear they're looking for volunteers.

2. This would be the definition of civil disobedience.

If you're not familiar with its premises, you can go look it up. The internets is your friend.

And I could show you 80+ stitches. But that's neither here nor there. Perhaps you could find a "kick-some-ass" flotilla and knock some sense into the Israelis and the world which lacks a response to them. Have you ever heard of Gandhi V. British empire? This would actually be a textbook, and I would argue ripe-for-the-picking, case (especially since Israel is a democracy).

4. Well, I think it would make all parties think twice.
But I loathe the idea of reality TV (do they still call it reality TV?; I don't have TV). I just think that if progressives around the world really detest this sort of disproportionate response, then this is our chance to expose this sort of sanctioned criminality.
