Alberto Gonzalez needs help paying legal bills/can't find a publisher
http://tpmmuckraker.talkingpointsmemo.com/2010/06/gonzo_asking_for_donations_to_cover_legal_bills_st.php?ref=fpb

"Former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales told Main Justice in an interview yesterday that he's looking for donations to cover his extensive legal bills -- and that he still hasn't found a book publisher.

"We need to do a better effort raising additional money, and so we're going to try to do that as soon as the last investigation ," the ex-attorney general said. "That investigation has been out there going on forever. I'm not sure what's going on there, but we're waiting for that to be completed."

As for the publishing deal, has he not heard of Regnery?

2. Hey, I know where he could get free room and board.
And there would be a bar he wouldn't have to (nor be able to) pass.

;-)

18. No, he isn't
Just of the top of my head; Hitler, Musolini, Tito, Pinochet, Friedman (couldn't resist), Pol Pot, ...

I'm sure the brains here on the DU could come up with many more examples.

Go easy on the hyperbole, dude. It's addicting.

4. Yeah, that kind of fantasy fiction can be hard to sell.
What did he call it, "How I Told The Truth To Congress"?

6. Nobody wants to publish a book written by a guy who can't remember anything?
What a suprise.

9. Can't remember, doesn't recall, and so forth
Maybe prospective publishers are worried about being accessories after the fact should Fredo suddenly start remembering all kinds of things he couldn't quite remember when he was under oath. Color me shocked that some publisher somewhere wouldn't want to take on this project as a favor to the Bush Family. But then, they're just sticking it to some furriner (Gonzalez isn't exactly a name on the Snooty Hills Country Club membership rolls), so the Bushes are probably just fine with their former consigliere's fall.

16. Perhaps he should consider
printing it himself? It could probably fit on a cocktail napkin, or inside a matchbook. Maybe a nice four-color postcard from Kinkos?

14. Sing like a canary, revealing all of B/C's secrets
Fuck attorney-client privelege. It'll be worth the career he so much ruined... THEN, I'll pay for a book with every gory details revealed that will eventually deport Chimp and Cheney as non-citizens to the International Palace of Peace.

or he can collect recyclable cans or bottles and get refunds.

Seriously, I could not care less about a human being...unless we are discussing any of the other Bush gang. Gather them all together and shoot them out into space on a one way trip.
