Conservatives know their numbers are getting low, Conservapedia tells people to marry conservatives
There is much good advice that can be given to teenagers and people in their 20s and 30s. But the best advice of all is this: marry a conservative.

Benefits include:

* freedom from sexually transmitted diseases and their harm (including most infertility)
* fidelity in marriage and accountability (:rofl::rofl:)
* lack of hostility to faith, no censorship of prayer
* frugality and freedom from burdens of big spending and debt ()
* respect for the Ten Commandments and opposition to deceit ()
* respect for a work ethic, and rejection of an entitlement mentality (Those Koch boys who organize the Tea Party rallies, they didn't work for all that money, they were born into it. They aren't "producers".)
* appreciates the importance of a conservative culture in raising children (Wasn't the stepfather of that Susan Smith woman who murdered her own children a leader in the Christian Coalition? Some great values he passed on there.)
* no confusion over who is the homemaker and who is the breadwinner; recognizing the benefits of division of labor
* recognizing that values do matter and do have serious consequences
* having values powerful enough to overcome addiction, such as drinking, gambling, pornography, obesity and smoking ()
* freedom from the liberal media and Hollywood values, and their misguided promotions and fads
* a relationship where issues and problems can be openly discussed, free from the ideological shackles of Liberal beliefs, Liberal denial and political correctness.

2. What a riot! These conservative stereotypes do not describe today's "conservatives."
It really is funny unless you realize that conservatives are none of the above. They are not frugal, they certainly are not people of marriage fidelity and accountability (Newt Gingrich, Henry Hyde). Ten Comandments? They covet everything their neighbor owns and will use the government to steal it. They especially enjoy breaking the 8th commandment: thou shall not bear false witness--as this list shows.

3. No arguing over what to watch on the teevee.

Set will stay tuned to Faux Snooze.

Household radios will stay tuned to the local AM RW Hatemonger Station.

9. So being conservative keeps you from getting the clap?
Also, I don't care what you believe politically, if you are big into religion (ANY religion) and you're married to someone who isn't, there's going to be problems. You could both be gay Republicans of African-American descent who went to the same college, make the same amount of money, and have similar careers, but if your partner communes with his/her diety ten times a day for twenty minutes at a time and you don't, you'd best find a marriage counselor now.

11. I guess that is why their numbers are shrinking.
What a steaming pantsload.

On their way to being a permanent minority in this country. These are the last gasps of their madness.

12. Heh, I wouldn't marry a conservative if he were the last man on earth
Edited on Fri Jun-04-10 01:16 PM by LaurenG
I am so prejudiced against them, so totally repulsed by them that I would be happier in the farthest corner of the earth all alone. :(

I guess republicans should teach their kids to marry only republicans. They don't need to spread a mentality that is so unhealthy that it threatens the world we live in. They make it impossible for the rest of us to take care of each other or ever have a chance for peace on earth.

edited typo and additional thought.

14. * freedom from the liberal media and Hollywood values
Do they realize that St. Ronnie Raygun, patron saint of American conservatives was from Hollywood and divorced his wife to marry another woman who was known for "giving the best blow jobs in Hollywood?"

Bwahahahahaha.
