And Meacham said something like "Oh, isn't the press silly, we make snap judgements all of the time that don't end up being right" re: Jindal's Republican Response. Please. Jindal has not suffered from bad political press that badly...the only reason why the press came down on Jindal after that response is because they were trying to distance themselves from the trainwreck because they had pinned Jindal as the Great Hope. And Scarborough made a "teleprompter" dig at Obama, like, "Well, just because he's not good at a TELEPROMPTER one night" or something. Remember when the Republican 2008 convention was almost derailed by a hurricane and the press was trying to turn it into some sort of redemption moment for Republicans to make up for Katrina? Not falling for it..
