US attack 'kills Iraqi children' plus the US's Shame in Afghanistan
Help me out here....we're the 'good guys' right......we are ....right?

Terrorists?!? I'd become a fucking terrorist if an occupying army killed my child - they must be lining up to sign up!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/6637307.stm

>>An attack by a US helicopter against suspected insurgents in Iraq has killed a number of children at a primary school, Iraqi security sources say.

One police officer said the helicopter was shot at from the ground during the morning. The school was said to have been hit when the aircraft returned fire.

The officer said police had spoken to eyewitnesses and that six children had been killed and six injured but the figures have not been independently confirmed.<<

also today from Afghanistan...

"Civilian deaths 'deeply shame' US"

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/6636343.stm

>>An American commander in Afghanistan has said that he is "deeply ashamed" by the killings of 19 Afghan civilians by US Marines in early March.
It has become a major issue, with Nato recently saying that its biggest error last year was killing civilians.

In January, it promised to do better.

"The deaths and wounding of innocent Afghans at the hands of Americans is a stain on our honour and on the memory of the many Americans who have died defending Afghanistan and the Afghan people.<<

3. No Bush isn't attacking Schools
The attack was probably ordered by a military officer who authorized the helicopter to fire on the area, without first making sure that the target was actually there.

Yes, I know that they have to act, but do they have to be so stupid about it? If the helicopter had just left the area the firing probably would have stopped, but they reacted, and so as far as we know
six children are dead, six were wounded, and the others will probably not be allowed to go to school
for the time being.

But, Bush may ordered the invasion, and he may have vetoed the spending bill, but he didn't attack this school.

Face it people, this isn't a "6 Degrees of Seperation" moment, the pilot opened fire, so it was the pilot that attacked that Primary school, not Bush.

2. Reminds me of a scene in "Saving Private Ryan" where,,,
Tom Hanks' character is pressed to explain his feelings about his squad's mission, which his soldiers doubt has much value. Unable to justify the risk to his men, Hanks' character offers a second rationale: that if completing the mission means he can go home, then he will do it.

Bush has put everybody currently in Iraq into an impossible situation.
