with the possibility for going back to Congress to get more should it be needed. Of course - BP, Transocean and Halliburton will pay all of that back to the taxpayers. But let the Repugs put the money where their mouths are. Make this a jobs bill. Put American's to work cleaning the Gulf. At the same time - include in this bill an unlimited liability for these firms - raise it from the $75 million that it is now set at.

The Repugs are griping that the government isn't doing enough. Well in my estimation - the Repugs in Congress are part of the government. Make them have to vote for this Gulf Restoration Package.

After all - every earthquake, tsunami, or other calamity that befalls other nations around the world - the U.S. comes up with the relief money to help affected people.

Put the money where your mouth is - Repugs.

This shouldn't all fall on the shoulders of Obama. Get the Repugs and Congress involved in the process. And fast. This should be the first thing on the agenda for Congress - both the House and Senate - tomorrow.
