San Diego, California (CNN) -- Out: Harvard Law School graduates who are scary smart -- having served as editor of the Harvard Law Review -- but come across as unemotional, aloof and uninterested in the demands of leadership even during a national catastrophe.

In: Rhodes scholars who are scary smart -- having been admitted to and turned down both Harvard Medical School and Yale Law School -- but also known to show flashes of rage at federal bureaucratic ineptitude during a national catastrophe.

8. Gag me with a spoon.
Doesn't this clown realize that Bobby is always running for president and has so for years?!

While I support any efforts Jindal does to help with the oil spill stuff, I also recognize Jindal for what he is: a self-serving opportunist. Nungesser deserves way more credit than Jindal does anyway.

18. Presidential passion! Wooo hoooo!
That is what we need, presidential passion. But the guy grew up with Bobby Brady as his idol. Give me strength. Pathetic. This is how desperate the GOP is for leadership.

22. This Wanker Ruben Navarrette defended Alberto Gonzales in his editorials
All through Gonzales stint with Bush.....here's a line he wrote on the US attorney firings

"Leading this lynch mob are white liberals who resent Gonzales because they can't claim the credit for his life's accomplishments and because they can't get him to curtsy. Why should he? Gonzales doesn't owe them a damn thing.

I'd say Gonzales is pretty much as advertised by his old friend, President Bush: an honorable public servant.
He comes across as a straight shooter. What you see is what you get. ""

YOU MAY NOW VOMIT!!!!!!

23. Has this angle ever been in doubt?

Really?

I know some had a knee jerk to his initial passion, which under the circumstances is probably understandable, but any dispassionate review of the chain of events in reporting would have to conclude this is Jindal's angle.

He was supposedly the Republican party's golden boy, an early front runner to face off against Obama even before Obama was sworn in. Then he had that horrible response to Obama's address, and he disappears.

And now he's back and suddenly "presidential" again.

This isn't rocket science.
