Rachel Maddow last night on Hatch's latest political ploy...
So, I suppose many of you saw Maddow's report last night on Orrin Hatch's using the Richard Blumenthal Vietnam incident to introduce an amendment making it illegal for candidates to lie about military service, all the while his buddy Mark Kirk essentially did the same thing that he seeks to criminalize in his amendment. Maddow used a term I've seen used on DU a lot in the past, that IOKIYAR (It's Okay If You're A Republican). I take it she checks in on DU frequently. On the topic of that, here's what I think the new GOP motto should be:

GOP - "Hypocrisy is the Best Policy"

How does that sound?
:)

And to go along with IOKIYAR, how about IOKIYAN (It's Okay If You're A Neocon) or IOKIYATB (It's Okay If You're A Teabagger) or IOKIYAF (It's Okay If You're A Fascist)? The possibilities are endless!

Also, was it last night or the night before Schultz had Limbaugh in the "Psycho Talk" zone for saying the Democrats only wish 9/11 had happened on their watch for political gain? Anyway, now that you think about it, Limbaugh just admitted that 9/11 happened on Bush's watch! Isn't that the one thing Republicons never will admit? Ha!
