Palin's New Neighbor, Joe McGinniss, talks to Matt Lauer on The Today Show

I apologize if this has already been posted, but I've been away from the computer all day.

I find it frightening the way the Palins (and the bots) are bullying Joe McGinniss. He has the right to live where he's living, and it seems pretty clear that he has no interest in their personal lives. Sarah has positioned herself as the victim here, as usual. Like he says, she could have introduced herself to him and presented a positive face, created a good first impression, talked about boundaries and so on, but she chose instead this instinctive paranoia. She put herself in the spotlight. She cannot expect that people won't want to write about how she rose to stardom. That's what I believe Joe McGinniss wanted to write about, not some lurid tale about her personal life as she seems to believe. It really makes you wonder what she's hiding.

1. Well, imv, matt did everything he could to stick

up for palin..even going so far as to call her governor palin when everyone knows she's the 1/2 term gov of Alaska.

Joe McGinniss handled it perfectly..especially when he said he would take her over a plate of cookies. It seems like Joe has palin's number for sure..now all he has to do is interview the neighbors.

Matt must like all that schreeching palin does about being the ultimate victim.

she posted a rant of her FB accusing them off not doing any fact checking...:nopity: what's good for the goose..

6. I agree. He was very condescending,

but maybe he was playing the devil's advocate to encourage McGinniss to clearly state his response to all the allegations and innuendoes. I thought Mr. McGinniss handled himself admirably and certainly seems more reasonable than Sarah. She's really losing it. I never would have thought she'd get this bad back in 2006 when she was elected governor. People can fool you.

8. Whatever matt's intention..I agree he

did play a good devil's advocate as well as being the swarmy matt I've come to expect. I have to wonder if he were interviewing palin on something she did would he have as many opposing view points to toss out at her?

Getting all that money just to run her motormouth hasn't helped her to become a better person..she has a talent for fooling people. The victimhood has only gotten worse for her and here's Joe McGinniss, the perfect bad guy to set herself up as prey.

5. Oh, yeah, I was just over there reading the comments

to that piece. She keeps digging her hole deeper and deeper. I don't think she REALLY wants to get the Lamestream Media on her ass...she's hiding too much.
