BP has shown themselves to be completely ineffective in addressing the most basic cleanup. They are not approving money for booms, they are not returning calls on innovative, proven ways to clean up the oil. At this point, Robert Reich is correct. Put the North American operations under temporary receivership and get environmental scientists who know what they are doing to call the shots on the cleanup.

The employees will still be there, but the leadership will change to strong hands, not weak hands that are apparently only trying to limit their liability by trying to hide the oil that has spilled. They are not trying to clean it up, they are only interested in their bottom line.

As for plugging it, I think they are doing their best but that can all continue under receivership.

PLEASE!! The Cosst Guard does not have the leadership needed for this job.
