in Guatemala and Honduras & Mexico to a lesser extent.

4. But it spent a lot of its energy doing that. Wind shear, water temps and
moisture will have a lot to do with this storm's future. Let's see what develops in the next day or so.

8. If they can control the leak until the bottom kill maybe they can get it done
before a Gulf storm.

Well, if AWAY is somewhere I guess perhaps it is.

Conditions just aren't favorable for development down there right now. They will be quite soon however, so keep your eyes on the tropics. I honestly have no idea what a significant tropical system would do if it plowed through the heart of that mess in the gulf but it can't be good can it?
