1. Just started Agenda for a New Economy. It looks like it's going to be a good read.

2. Here're my three picks:
I just finished Justice: What's the Right Thing To Do? by Michael J. Sandel.

The next book on my To Read list is Stones Into Schools: Promoting Peace with Books, Not Bombs, in Afghanistan and Pakistan, Greg Mortenson's sequel to Three Cups of Tea.

My fiction pick is The Good Man Jesus and the Scoundrel Christ, a retelling of the gospel through atheist Philip Pullman's eyes. Yes, Philip Pullman of The Golden Compass fame. Here's an excerpt, printed in The Guardian. I just started it. A short, easy, subversive read beachside.
