5. Mostly just gay bashing and homosexual paranoia
Edited on Sun May-30-10 08:46 PM by Statistical
Ron Paul supports ending DADT under the principle that govt has no authority to interfere in this instance. Kinda what one would expect if you are educated on libertarian principles.

Couple quotes:

Barf, Ronnie you just lost me.....He was my congressmen in TX for many years.

He use to have redeeming characteristics, voting against taxes and spending.
This will increase spending. There will now be special legal officers on every base to protect the feelings of gays.

Just what the military needs, a policy that will attract more homosexual perverts, deviants and misfits. This will negatively impact recruiting, imho, because normal men don’t want to subject themselves to this garbage. It will embolden the perverts to make ‘passes’ at normal men and that will create a tension that the military just doesn’t need. And it will negatively impact effectiveness over the long run. Sad, what we are fast turning into.

It could get ugly, real soon. Our socialists are just a spoiled as Europe’s, probably better armed.....

Wouldn’t expect much different from Rino Paul, Liberaltarian.

Funny thing is a tiny minority of posters get the concept that libertarian means no govt interference. I mean it is an oxymoron to say no government intereference and then say the government must interfer. Couple quotes like this:

A true libertarian has no problem with homosexuals; libertarians only object to preferential treatment of them or anyone else for that matter as far as the law is concerned.

I guess my only question would be do we ask heterosexuals to “don’t ask don’t tell”?

Its kind of hard to say you want government out of people’s fiscal lives when you want government to police people’s sexual lives. Whether you find what they are doing repugnant or not is really beside the point. If you find it repugnant, then those are the people that the law is supposed to protect and treat equally, because in general, the law is not needed to protect those who people don’t find repugnant. Let me be clear: *No one* should be given special treatment. But all should be given equal treatment under the law. Period. DADT treats homosexuals differently. There’s no avoiding that fact. The point is do you want government out of people’s lives or not? If so, then be consistent about it.

What a perverse individual Ron Paul is!
"I think the way it's enforced is bad. Because, literally, if somebody is a very, very good individual working for our military—and I met one just the other day in my office, who was a translator—and he was kicked out for really no good reason at all.
Ron, the very good reason he was most likely kicked out was that he ASKED or TOLD *someone*!

DADT doesn't ban homosexuals from serving. It basically tells them to shut up about it.
Repealing DADT is in fact, giving homosexuals preferential treatment.

True.
Ron Paul is a not a conservative.
He is in the Conservative Republican party for only one reason.
He is a RINO.

Its probably the ONLY gay Arabic speaking translator in the military. No doubt he has been doing the rounds of all of the congressmen’s offices with his tale of gay martyrdom.
Here is a question for you. Why do they need gay Arabic translators when there are millions of Arab Christians in this country? Can’t they find any Arab speaking Christians to translate? Or maybe CAIR doesn’t want any Arabic Christians translating? The gay propaganda machine made it sound as if the military did not have enough Arabic translators. Something is fishy.

Homosexuals are disordered individuals. Under DADT, homosexuals would have a difficult time keeping control of themselves. When the DADT dyke bursts (pun intended), all hell will break loose.
Homosexuals are notorious for their lack of self control.

Surely he's aware that his namesake was one half of TV's first gay couple?

The Batman and Robin TV show started in 1966.

23. Being a snappy dresser is no real indication, but Tinky Winky's
autobiography promises to blow the lid off the sordid affairs in the animated world of Hollywood. I thought that being a Brit, he wouldn't have first hand knowledge, but it appears he does. Wilma doesn't come off well, from what I've heard. They called her Wilma White Powder.

Yessir, that's how I tell the gay men from the straights--the gays are out on the street fucking anything that moves.

What a fucking moron. I wonder how he explains away the number of cheating straight men.

I'm actually shocked I didn't think conservatives still hated gays that much,I thought they were toning down on the homophobia.

22. Anything that threatens the perceived primacy of ...
heterosexual White, Protestant Christian Men of Anglo-European ancestry is rejected. Such things as equal treatment under the law of minorities(including homosexuals), women, and the poor are not tolerated. As their numbers shrink their cries get louder. They aren't toning down, they are ratcheting up to protect what they think is their birthright.

Just give it time. They will go the way of the dinosaurs soon enough.
