1. It seems they are allowed to run roughshod over everyone. The US gov has NO say so.

They must have a powerful threat hanging over our government to be able to do that.
Maybe they've threatened to just walk away if the government tries to force honesty.

3. I'd raise em Special Forces/CIA/FBI in every building and black hoods for everybody

Walking away from this or oil threats means war. If we can do it with Al Qeada then we can do it with BP and England can go to Hell too if they don't turn em over or try to interfere.

Maybe a couple of them should have an accident to reenforce who's who.
