Thank you Hospice!
Early this morning, my uncle lost his year-long battle with cancer.

While we all mourn his passing and our great loss; we cannot help but wonder how much different our experience would have been without this organization.

Not only was Terry given exceptional quality palliative care in his final moments with us, but the compassion, sympathy and support from the doctors, nurses, staff and volunteers was beyond ANYTHING that I thought was available in the health care field.

Many, many thanks to anyone who is employed, or knows an individual who works in this field.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

1. That's lovely of you. I'm sorry for
your loss and as a hospice volunteer, I completely agree. It's a fabulous organization that's there for when people really need them at an emotional time in a family's life.

2. We had home hospice for my dad.
He died at home with family. I think that gave him a lot of comfort at the end. It's a great, great thing. The regular hospice care is wonderful too.

Sorry for your loss.

3. Hospice made my Mother's last days bearable.
For that reason, I have included them in my will. Assuming of course, that there will be something left.....

4. I am so sorry for you loss, Earth_First.
And bless the hearts of those who work with Hospice. I don't think that I could do that kind of work, and I am in awe of those that can.
