HERE

We all desperately hope today's topkill procedure works; though either way I can't fathom why President Obama won't immediately assume or assign full clean up responsibilities to other entities? Clearly, BP has blown it!

Charge BP for every penny needed to clean up and collect for future economic losses in livelihood. Hire as many LA locals as possible to save (what's left) of the living marshes; bring all resources to bear at the government's disposal to clean efforts up now!!!

The marsh that Anderson visited is already dead or dying...how many others? This is no Katrina in terms of human life loss, but we are witness to hundreds of thousands of aquatic, land, and flying things being choked to death. We keep seeing oiled up marshes without any official presence cleaning them or even trying - this will become Obama's Katrina.

2. That's politics.
The "Obama is doing nothing" narrative is ramping up like crazy in the media. If he wants to get re-elected he'd better at least pretend to do something, even if there's nothing to be done.

Where'd this ship come from?

Are these people setting up for beach volleyball?

Or are you going to call GreenPeace liars?

5. There was an article that discussed how 'doing something' destroyed the marshes more
...than just letting it be (had to do with people stepping down and pushing the oil into the soil and 'killing' the marsh).

So, you never know...
