Edited on Mon May-07-07 08:46 PM by Tandalayo_Scheisskop
David just sold his journalist soul! Divoon! Hpw precious!

On edit: Gimme the old reporters who would have declined the invitation, to drink boilermakers in a Blarney Stone. Without Bukowski.

16. I wouldn't think so -and it sure shoots that tension of an adversarial
press all to hell.

(Gregory doesn't appear to be working. Looks like he's a guest.)

He was on the guest list. Adversarial press. How quaint.

When does David get his ambassadorial post?

21. Gregory didn't sell out anything. . .
. . .its a different culture. I work in state Government and you would be surprised that no matter how hard the battles are people still like to be people. I have seen reporters take pot shots at our current Governor, then they showed and partied at the Inaugural, drank the booze joked with the very state officials they cover and the next day they were back to scrutinizing the hell out of everything.

11. For once I agree with George Bush
White tie dinners are too old fashioned, too Old World. Screw 'em. Next time the queen of England pops over (Mayflower anniversary, maybe?) I say we throw her an old school barbecue, maybe let her and the Obamas play Pictionary in the White House living room during cocktails. That would be a lot more fun and a lot more American.

68. It doesn't look very formal, and neither does the wrap.
I own a dress that one of the size zeros could have worn (and I cannot any longer): Black lace over taupe taffeta, strapless, but the boobs don't show in it, lighty gathered at the waist, and an occasional run of flat black sequins for minimal sparkle. It's a gorgeous gown, and I don' have any place to wear it even if I could fit into it.

60. Beth needs a jacket over those shoulders!
Call me old fashioned, but she needs some sort of wrap or jacket on.

The lady in the black number with the white jacket top is wearing something that looks like 1960s classic Jackie Kennedy style. Looks like it could be a Vogue Designer Pattern from the 60s to be exact. My mom used to sew with those.

Jackie is red-linin' the marble tachometer tonight, I'm sure!! :grr:
