5. I just replayed the interview and listened twice.....the looting

remark was in reference to the flooding in TN which he called the biggest national disaster since President Obama took office. He said the citizens weren't looting and most weren't paying any attention to it (the flooding)....!

His statements about the 'spill' were that it's like an airplane crash. We can't just quit flying because there's a bad crash. He continued that it must be investigated to see what went wrong and that we can't stop drilling in the Gulf of Mexico because the Gulf supplies one third of our oil and 25% of our gas and that even if we electrified cars we'd still be using 12 million gallons of gasoline a day.

We're seeing it in action here. Actually it's no longer Obama's "Katrina" its now turned into his "Chernobyl". Anything to score political points works...push the blame and then go hiding behind your rock cause you don't really have to back up what you're saying.

This noise has been driving the corporate media and why they've ignored the evidence that this administration isn't just sitting by. It also takes the attention off the enormous evidence of corruption within the Interior Department and MMS during the booosh regime that led to the lax enforcement of excisting regulations and let BP drill further out and deeper with no regard to the consequences. i don't see how that could be the two situations are nothing alike. katrina was a hurricane and the levies which had not been fixed by the army corps of engineers as was well established due to lack of funding if i am not mistaken while this catastrophe was completely preventable by a PRIVATE company and then they lied about how bad it was and apparently had NO plans in place to deal with a blowout at this depth. Now the same people that keep bitching about the big bad government getting in the way of business doing it's business are complaining that the government SHOULD be involved. obama didn't stay on vacation for days after this happened. he knows what's going on, though he shouldn't have trusted BP to tell him but i digress.... bush was on vacation.... he STAYED on vacation and then did a fly over. he didn't know what was going on and didn't seem to care. it is completely different.
