BP says will provide video feed during "top kill"

HOUSTON, May 25 (Reuters) - BP Plc. (BP.L) will continue to broadcast a live video of its leaking undersea oil well on Wednesday during a key procedure to choke off the leak, the London-based energy giant said on Tuesday.

In a statement, BP said it "will continue to provide live video feeds from the seabed throughout the planned 'top kill' procedure."

"Rep. Markey last week used his public position to browbeat BP into releasing that live feed and he called BP's attempted video blackout "outrageous."
- deserves a lot of credit. His action will likely help the affected people to the tune of billions imho. Remember, 15 billion in profits is a bad year for BP.

BP must have deemed the blowback from cutting the feed too high. And rightly so.
