Bush on Wind, Oil and a Happy Retirement
In a jocular keynote address at the American Wind Energy Association’s conference in Dallas, former President George W. Bush reflected broadly on his presidency Tuesday morning and said the nation was in the midst of an energy transition.

Wearing a gray suit and a blue tie, Mr. Bush appeared tanned and relaxed, and he made clear that he was enjoying life out of the spotlight.

“When I got back to Texas and I looked in the mirror, I knew I didn’t sell my soul for politics,” said Mr. Bush, who also took a few questions after his speech from Denise Bode, the head of the wind association.

On energy – an area in which his administration drew criticism for its ties to fossil-fuel industries – he mentioned that he had said in a State of the Union address that America was addicted to oil.

“If you’re a guy from Texas and you say America is addicted to oil, it’s a surprising moment,” Mr. Bush said.

1. Bush: When I got back to Texas and I looked in the mirror, I knew I didn’t sell my soul for politics
That would, of course, required him to have a soul to sell.

Your Grandfather snuck arms out of the country and sold them to Nazi Germany, so they could do horrendous things to people...

Your Father was a CIA official who couldn't remember where he was when President John F. Kennedy was assassinated, and then later assisted Ronnie Raygun in implementing the modern undoing of America, as well as the involvement in that nasty Iran Contra business...

When you evict elderly people out of the PAID FOR homes to build a stadium, giving them less than their home was worth, forcing many to live in poverty or in a standard lower than what they were accustomed to...

When you are responsible for protecting America and ignore warnings of an impending terrorist attack that kills over 3,000 people...

When you start two wars, and lie to the American people to do it...when those wars result in the deaths of tens of thousands of innocent people...

You don't have a soul to sell. It's already been taken.

George W. Bush = ASSHOLE. (And I'm being nice.)

That sums it up right there. :)

EDIT: Don't forget his great-grandfathers, Samuel Prescott Bush and George Herbert Walker-the patriarchs of the Bush Family Evil Empire.
