We had a visit with the Heisman Trophy winner, today
Mark Ingram, the 2009 Heisman Trophy winner, is a Flint, MI native. A member of our BOD is a sports medicine doctor who, I suspect, knows Mark from his high school days. So, he invited Mark to stop by the office for a meet and greet with all of the employees. And, he brought the trophy.

What a nice, down to earth, lovely young man. I'm not a big sports fan, but still enjoyed the visit, and the chance to get an up close look at such a famous award. From now on, when I hear the words Heisman Trophy, it will bring to mind Mark Ingram, and NOT OJ Simpson.

2. how come he played for the tide instead of the wolverines?
it was a lot closer to home. Of course its possible he hates snow so he might have wanted to go somewhere where there wasn't any.

6. Because his father played at Michigan State
Dad was a troublemaker (and is currently in jail) but so far Ingram the younger seems to be on the right path.

4. Flint has produced some great athletes
I d8dn't realized that Mark's high school career started at my high school (Grand Blanc), and he played on the field that is named for my Father. Dad, who was a well known high school football coach, would have been absolutely thrilled.

7. Rec'd from an LSU Tiger fan.
That's how much respect I have for that kid.

The rest of 'em---around the bowl, down the hole, etc.
