BP CEO walks on oil covered beach, barks orders to media
by Chris in Paris on 5/25/2010 03:11:00 PM

So who died and made Tony Hayward the king? Yes, that's the BP CEO yelling "get 'em out of there, get 'em out of there" to the media who is filming him as he "works" on the oil slick cleanup. The last time I checked, we don't like in the United States of BP. Again, would someone in the White House like to step up and take control of this situation? This pompous ass thinks he owns the place and quite frankly, he does at the moment.

4. Who is he addressing?
Edited on Tue May-25-10 03:33 PM by jberryhill
He's looking at the water and saying "get 'em out of there".

Get what out of where?

It's clear the camera and sound guy aren't going anywhere in response.

6. It looked to me like he was trying to...
...keep that camera guy out of the oil. I would have appreciated the warning. In no way am I happy with BP's response to they're disaster, but this seems like a non-issue.

7. BP is too big to control. You have heard of to big to fail, well it looks to me like "to big to
control" might be more accurate. The president couldnt control the banks, the insurance companies, big pharma and now we are seeing proof beyond a doubt who runs what. It the president even tried to take actions against BP, it'd probably be contested all the way to the SCOTUS. And guess who they'd favor?
