Unauthorized biographer moves next door to Palin
Source: Yahoo News

Journalist Joe McGinniss, now working on a biography of Sarah Palin, has found a way to get closer to his subject: Move in next door.

Palin writes on Facebook that McGinniss has temporarily moved to the neighborhood. "Here he is — about 15 feet away on the neighbor's rented deck overlooking my children's play area and my kitchen window," she wrote, and posted this photo to Facebook, over the caption "Hi, Neighbor! May I Call You 'Joe'?":

Palin's family had just returned to Alaska after some speeches and rallies, she relates, and had gone outside — "putting on the shorts and tank top to catch that too-brief northern summer sun and placing a giddy Trig in his toddler backpack for a lawn-mowing adventure" — when she noticed a new neighbor. Her husband, Todd, "went to introduce himself to the stranger who was peering in" and learned it was journalist McGinniss, who told Todd he planned to be in the house for five months.

"He moved up all the way from Massachusetts to live right next to us — while he writes a book about me," Palin continued. "Knowing of his many other scathing pieces of 'journalism' (including the bizarre anti-Palin administration oil development pieces that resulted in my Department of Natural Resources announcing that his work is the most twisted energy-related yellow journalism they'd ever encountered), we're sure to have a doozey to look forward to with this treasure he's penning. Wonder what kind of material he'll gather while overlooking Piper's bedroom, my little garden, and the family's swimming hole?"

Ooohhh... "Piper's bedroom" - who's injecting the child into this conversation?

1. My gut says, 'Excellent!' My brain says, 'IGNORE HER!'
If the media would stop talking about her, she would cease to exist.

2. "Her" dept of Natural Resources? Did she get that in a custody settlement
when she and the Governor's office parted ways?

10. Maybe she means while she was governor.
That and her pettiness would explain why a state government agency would comment on journalistic standards.

Still, it comes off as possessive and grandiose. We are her majesty's humble servants, after all.

3. Oh, and I forgot... "putting on the shorts and tank top"

Trying hard to rally the peeping tom crowd. Really, that's obviously not a just-built house, so whoever was there before could have seen Sarah in her "shorts and tank top", no to mention "Piper's bedroom" but it wasn't an issue for Sarah before.3

12. I believe
That,if this is indeed correct, he does have every right to live there.

It does not sound like he announced he was doing this. With Caribou Barbie writing a note on facebook, she could conceivably have put him in harms way. Bible Spice's fans are rabid.

The Grifter handled it in the most adult way possible. Does she not have enough money for a big old fence?
