6. I'm in for this thread also! People do not realize just how severe this will be...

...and not just for the Gulf coasts. Once this gets into the Gulf Stream, this poison will move around the planet. Already some biologists are starting to whisper about ELE--extinction level event. If this is not stopped, this could poison the food chain that sustains the entire planet.

I want BP to suffer. My mom said Landrieu (I have no idea which one, there are so many) announced with happy pride that BP was going to pay ONE YEAR of income. ONE. "If you earned $50,000 last year, they will pay you $50,000."

Uh, no. This isn't a one-year calamity. This is fifty years. If you earned $50,000 last year, BP needs to cut a check for that times 50. And if there is a dime left over, it goes to the Audabon Society. I have zero desire to see BP whole and well at the end of this. I want their bleached white corpse bones dipped in oil and put on display as an example to everyone who messes with Mother Nature.
