Obama to get oil spill report Thursday-White House

Tue, May 18 2010WASHINGTON, May 24 (Reuters) - A report on the BP Gulf oil disaster that will influence whether the U.S. Interior Department resumes issuing offshore drilling permits will be sent to President Barack Obama on Thursday, the White House said on Monday.

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs also told reporters that he expected Obama to talk about the report and take some reporters' questions on the disaster once he had the Interior Department's review of the spill in hand.

1. Gee, how leisurely. How deliberate and thoughtful it all sounds.
How many dead pelicans now? Fish? Other birds? Other wildlife? MEN?

I'm sure we have plenty of time to think about it all.
