Corporate Media At Work - Headlines Re GOP Win In Hawaii Never Mention That Democrats Split The Vote
Look at all reports on the Republican win in President Obama's home district in Hawaii. Some even use this to argue that this win shows that Democrats will lose control of Congress in 2010. Of course, what do the headlines fail to mention? That two Democrats split the vote so that the Republican won with only 39 percent of the vote!

The accurate headline would be: "Democrats Split Blue Vote Leading To GOP Win!"

Of course, this would not have support the corporate media narrative that Americans are going right in the 2010 election. Likewise, the corporate media ignored Rand Paul's extremist views because it did not support the Tea Party as a new force in politics narrative.

Check it out for yourself, and you will find that you have dig deep into stories about the GOP win to discover that two Democrats split the majority of the vote.

1. The Media Narrative---Republicans will win in November.---
marches on. This framing of the story fits beautifully into
their overall narrative.
