Poll: Rand Paul Surges Ahead of Palin Among Voters Who Describe Themselves as Morons
In a sign of his increasing prominence in the so-called Tea Party movement, a new poll shows Kentucky senatorial candidate Rand Paul topping former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin among voters who describe themselves as morons.

In the poll, conducted by the University of Minnesota’s Opinion Research Institute, 42% preferred Paul, 36% preferred Palin, and the remaining 22% were unsure what the word “prefer” meant.

According to Davis Logsdon, who supervised the poll for the University of Minnesota, Paul’s surging popularity among morons is bad news for Palin, who previously had a lock on that important constituency.

“I never thought I’d say this, but if Palin is going to stay competitive with Paul, she’s going to have to start dumbing down her message.”

1. That sounds like reliable data. Among self-identifying morons, you
could see where their loyalties might be split.

Since Rand is the newer shinier object, it would figure that he'd win a majority of morons' hearts.

4. But . . .
what about those who are too stupid to know they are morons? or those who are morons but self-identify as the "best and brightest"? This poll exposes only the tip of the moron bloc.

5. However, her voice still does more damage to my ears.
Sometimes I'm just a little too slow with the remote and that banshee squeal hits me before I can react.

The scary part is that where I live, either one of them would carry the vote. The TP'ers are way too plentiful around here. Hmmmm... could that be because there are so many small minded people around here.......

7. Actually, Rand is talking over a lot of people's head. He is spouting
libertarian Theory. I certainly in no way agree with
him, but he is not dumb.

8. You just nailed what bothers me the most about libertarians
They are almost always incredibly smart. But I guess not smart enough to not be a libertarian. LOL
