1. Why haven't DUers stopped the oil flow? Is it that the will isn't there?

After all, we seem to expect the politicians and coast guards to be able to do it and I'm not convinced they have any more equipment and expertise to work a mile under the ocean to solve this problem as the average DUer.

Such a thing is just fail. Are you really so dense as you pretend to be? Are you so hard up for a snark that you are willing to make yourself look illiterate to achieve it? If you took what you claim to have taken from that post, you are simply stupid. Sorry to be so blunt, but you do not mince words. So I will not either. Apparently the point was lost to you, and yet you felt compelled to take a crack at it anyway.
The argument you would need to make would be that the gusher is not a failure, but a success. You could highlight the positive facets that you see, for it is, you claim, not a failure, but a success. A strange way to look at this disaster, so perhaps you should explain why you do not see the gusher as a failure on the part of those who made it happen.
