1. A nice coverup tactic to pretend the vote gets spit up once again....
those wishing to steal the election once again are probaly overcome with joy if such were to happen.

6. I think that Hagel would take more votes away from the GOP candidate
If he were to run as an Independent (along with Bloomberg as his running-mate, as rumors have suggested) then he could be a serious contender.
