I've lived in Alaska - - I've driven the Eagle River 500 -- I've skied with the moose in the snow - - trust me -- this is better

5. All this destroyed so a few greedy Bastards at the top can control the price of Gas...

Florida was a paradise.. you used to be able to fish almost anywhere, see Dolphins up close on a daily basis... stand in water up to your knees and see the fish swim around your feet.... no more.

They paved paradise and put up a parking lot.

Mr. Obama.. I beg you.. Stand up to BP.. do not let this get worse than it is... (we may already be past the point of no return)

20. stunning...
What a truly beautiful image... as a lifelong Floridian I have the sickest of feelings in the pit of my stomach and pray every day that our beloved Gulf can be saved.

Could you possibly post this in a larger image? It's a bit small to desktop image, but I'm determined.

10. Love your pics
I'm always looking for great photos to paint especially ocean and wet sand. So I hope you don't mind if I hit >save> and stored a few in my "Inspiration" folder.

It saddens me that all of that can go away...

12. :)
I wish I could sell what I paint but then again - nah. I've a feeling the additional pressure to produce consistently would squash my spirit.

Art is a beloved hobby and I want to keep it that way, if that makes any sort of sense.

Thanks!!

21. Baclava...
just wanted to let you know... ever since I saw this thread I've googled Destin, FL and found many more pictures and information about the area.

I must admit... I had no idea this section of Florida, east of Pensacola was so beautiful. I mean, it's amazing. Stunning... stunning in a Carribean cruise kinda way.

I will be in Florida in Sept... I plan on a day trip out to Destin... I hope it looks like it does above.
